Five 19th century unframed early monkey engravings painted by Jean-Charles Werner and printed by lithographer C. de Last. From the Cuvier Histoire Naturelle. Comprising Papien male, Babouin male, Tamarin; Chacma male tres vieux and Magot male. All in good condition, with the exception of some yellowing and tears to the edges of some of the engravings. Once framed this won't show. All approximately the same size, except for Chacma male who is slightly larger.The green cast to the photo is an error in lighting. The paper is white.
