Rare Delmonico's restaurant cookbook by chef Charles Ranhofer. Originally published in 1894 and copyrighted by his wife Rose in 1920. Delmonico's opened in 1820, serving European fine dining. The book covers table and wine service, bills of fare, recipes from 1862 to 1894. Illustrated with 800 plates. Originally published by Charles Ranhofer himself, this 1920s edition was published by The Hotel Monthly Press, John Willy Inc.
