Victorian English papier mâché japanned tilt-top tripod table with inlaid mother-of-pearl decoration. Beautifully hand- painted flowers decorate the top and gold scrollwork on the turned and tripod base. There were a number of papier mâché makers at that time the most famous of which was Jennings & Bettridge. Do not know who made this table, it is not signed.
